Simple Fandom is mama ceep owned & operated, across the US and Canada. Our fandoms cross multiple genres, and we're constantly creating new designs.
It’s hard to find the time and energy to work when you’re a disabled stay-at-home mom. But two disabled moms working together? We met on a facebook group for people with Cerebral Palsy, where our community uses the shorthand Ceep to refer to ourselves. As both moms & ceeps, we had a lot in common, but we both brought very different skills to our partnership. With such varied interests in fantasy, sci-fi, nature, psychology, and disability awareness, we decided on an open-ended concept. We’d create & sell designs that spoke to us, with the hope that our customers would become fans of our work.
Over time, our website has shifted to support more LARP activities and equipment. Gwen has taken up booth sales at LARPs and conventions. Gwen's daughter has started her own version of blogging - adding snippets of stories to various listings. Quyên has stepped back, but still helps in the background. We've got distributorships with a few different places, and our offerings have grown significantly.
